As well as recording a brand new promotional video, adding new photos and laying down tracks for some new demos, we also had a fantastic gig at Granvilles in Stone on Feb 20th. Thanks to all that came down – we hope you all enjoyed yourselves as much as it looked from the stage. If that wasn’t enough, we have also recruited a couple of new members to the Groovething family. Welcome to Amanda who joins on vocals, and Neil on guitar. We’ll be adding some more information on each member of the band over the next couple of weeks so stay tuned.
Back in the SSR
on Nov 28 by GrooveThingSo we’re back in the studio again to record a few more tracks for your listening pleasure. These are all recorded ‘live’ with the band in SSR studios in Manchester. They are the exact same arrangements and line up as we play live so that you can be assured that we really do sound like this! Look out for our versions of ‘Everybody Dance’ by Chic, ‘Valerie’ by Amy Winehouse and ‘Never Forget You’ by Noisettes. We’re taking a few weeks off to record these, but look out for more GT gigs in the coming months!
