We offer a flexible lineup to suit your occasion, from a smaller 5 piece band to the full 8 piece lineup for the ultimate function band experience.
| Amanda has performed previously on UK television and stage and was a finalist in the television show ‘Pop Stars’ from which she was able to expand her repertoire. As an accomplished performer in musical theatre, her previous roles have previously included Maria / Anita (West Side Story) and Gigi (Miss Saigon) amongst many others. |
| Katie has been singing from an early age with extensive experience all over the UK. A talented songwriter and pianist (as well as trumpet), Katie is a versatile singer, comfortable with all styles of music, from Dusty Springfield to Duffy - and back again! |

| Neil is a multi-instrumental musician, composer and sound designer with a string of credits to his name. He has been involved in live performance, audio production and design for the last 20 years. An experienced session player, Neil has played and recorded at the world renowned Manor Mobile studios on a number of projects, including Al Green, Robert Plant and Jimmy Page. |
| Tim is an in demand session keyboardist and teacher, with a string of credits to his name. His encyclopedic knowledge of music ensures that the band are always on top form! |

| Since graduating from Salford University, Charlotte has been lucky enough to work with artists as diverse as Gloria Gaynor, Dave Finnegan (The Commitments) and Big Band singer Andy Prior. She has played at theatres across the UK with touring shows such as “Elvis On Tour – The Legend Continues”, “The Mike James Big Band Swing Party” and various musicals and pantomimes. She works with numerous big bands, most recently “The Moonlight Serenade Orchestra UK” and “The Northern Jazz Orchestra” and is also involved in a number of smaller projects. |
| Chris on trumpet (and occasional flugelhorn) comes from a background that is many and varied. From Big Band and Swing (The Mark Gillbanks Swing Orchestra, Double B Jazz Orchestra), Funk, Soul and Pop (Lex Icon Corporation, Mother Freedom) to musical theatre and classical, Chris makes up one half of the Groovething horn section. |

| Since picking up his first bass aged 14, Ray has been holding down the low end ever since. He has played in numerous local bands over the years playing Funk, Soul, Motown, Blues, Rock and Pop. Ray believes that many modern bass players forget that groove is all important for keeping people on the dancefloor and likes to keep his playing solid and funky. He takes his influences from bass players of the 'golden age' of Funk and Soul such as James Jamerson, Bootsy Collins, Bernard Edwards and Larry Graham |
| Paul has played drums since his early teens, quickly becoming in demand for his dynamic and tasteful playing. With experience spanning over 15 years in the studio and live, he is the driving force behind Groovething. Equally at home playing melodic pop, motown swing and full on rock his funky style will get you on the dancefloor and keep you there all night! |
